Pat Foye
Pat is an Operating Partner of Transportation and Infrastructure at ARDIAN, a top global asset manager with over $180 billion of AUM in Europe, North America and Asia. He is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia School of Engineering teaching the Public Private Partnership class.
Pat was the CEO of ASTM North America, a subsidiary of a large international infrastructure investor and operator.
Pat served as the Chairman, CEO and President of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority for 4 years, starting in August 2017, which owns and operates over $1.5 trillion of infrastructure assets that serve over 15.3 million people in the 5,000 square mile area around NYC. The MTA operates the nation’s largest subway, commuter rail and bus fleets and operates bridges and tunnels in NYC.
Pat was the Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey for almost 6 years, starting in October 2011, where he pioneered the P3 or Public Private Partnership Plan approved by the Board in March 2016 for the $8 billion reconstruction of Terminal B and the Delta Terminal at LaGuardia Airport. Pat also had a leadership role for the $1.5 billion P3 funding for the new Goethals Bridge between New Jersey and Staten Island, which was started in 2014.
Pat also served as Vice Chairman for the Long Island Power Authority for over 10 years starting in June 1996.
Pat started his career as a Merger & Acquisition Partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP for 17 years before joining a S&P 500 REIT, AIMCO, as Exec Vice President for six years.
Education - Fordham College, Bachelor’s Degree with honors, Fordham University School of Law - JD and Fordham University School of Law Honorary JD Degree in June 2022.
